This programme is designed to cover the essential understanding that you need to prepare for a successful career in banking and financial services.
You will have the opportunity to investigate and analyse a range of issues relating to the financial markets, the core elements of banking and the financial world at large. In the first year you will get to grips with the workings of the sector both from an organisational point of view and in respect of the financial markets. The second year builds specific understanding of the commercial environment in which banks operate. There is also an opportunity to undertake a work placement within the industry. The local financial services sector is fast expanding and Mauritius is striving to become a dynamic and innovative financial hub. There is an increased demand for well trained graduates in the financial services industry. Graduates will be employed in banks, non-bank financial institutions (insurance, leasing, investment, global business, stockbroking), public and private sector.
