Random site visits and 4 weeks training at the end of the second semester, helps the students to get acquainted to and devise their career path within this field. The second year of study aims at inculcating technological and professional knowledge in the students. They also learn Managerial skills with a broad mindset regarding sustainable and green development. After completing a two months training in an engineering organization, students should complete their final year project under the supervision of academics and professionals.

Career Prospects
After completing their DUST – GC, students are apt to fill posts of Technical officers and Site Managers/ Agents in the Public and Private sectors related to Civil Engineering. From design to completion, DUST – GC holders participate actively in different phases of Building and Civil Engineering projects.

Entry
Requirements
HSC or equivalent with at least 2 Advanced Level in Maths and Physics. Additional Advanced level Science and /or Technical subjects will be an advantage. “Brevet de Technicien (BT, BTS)” and “Baccalaureate” in Science are also accepted.
