Doctoral School (École Doctorale)

The Doctoral School is a critical link between the teaching and research missions of Université des Mascareignes. As a centre of excellence for education, the Doctoral School provides a supportive environment and a thriving research culture to help our research candidates reach their potential.

We aim to produce research leaders, working with integrity and motivated to make a positive impact on society. We prepare our research candidates to be able to work across disciplines which is a necessary skill to confront society’s grand challenges in both academic and non-academic roles.

The Doctoral School is committed to ensuring that the quality of research training at Université des Mascareignes is at the highest international level. We aim to ensure that you as a research candidate work in a high quality research training environment.

The Doctoral School organises specialist courses and transferable skills seminars for PhD students. Research conducted by research candidates span across engineering, renewable energy, sustainable development, Information and Communication Technology and Management.
