Senior Lecturer, Department of Applied Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Universite des Mascareignes. Hold a DSc in Engineering Education from Commonwealth University (U.K), MA in Education from University of Brighton, (UK) , Engineering Council Exams (UK) , a Licence GEEA (ENS, Cachan) and a Diploma in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (UoM).

Before joining the Universite des Mascareignes, he worked as Mechanical and Electrical Engineer (Rich Sand Hotel), Technical Officer (Ministry of Public Infrastructure), Training Officer (MITD) and Lycee Polytechnique , Sir Guy Forget.

His main fields of interest are: Electrical Power Systems, Control Systems, Machine and Drives, Fields and Circuits, Electronics and Communication, Industrial Programming, Automation and Engineering Education.

He is presently collaborating with Universite de Montreal to prepare a prototype for Assessment in Engineering Education under the supervision of Professor (Dr) Micheline Joanne Durand. Also working with Professor (Dr) Deepshikha Bhargava, Amity University, Rajasthan on a IT based curriculum for Engineers.

He has invented 4 educational games for promoting Constructivism in Engineering Education.

He is also preparing a thesis for a PhD at the Universite des Mascareignes entitled:
‘To investigate the effectiveness of the constructivist approach in improving the teaching and learning styles in Engineering Education’
