On 9 August 2021, the IPCC Secretariat held a press conference to present the Summary for Policy Makers (SPM) of the Working Group I (WGI) contribution to the Sixth Assessment Report (AR6), “Climate Change 2021: The Physical Science Basis”. Ten policy implications of the IPCC AR6’s scientific findings for Mauritius are discussed, including the information gaps that will need to be filled to strengthen the evidence base for sound decision-making.
