Mauritius/Africa scholarship

The Mauritius/Africa scholarship is awarded by the Mauritian government to student from African countries. Application for the scholarship and all other related documents should be submitted directly to the ministry. The official web site for the scholarship is: http://ministry-education.govmu.org

  • Students who apply for the scholarship should inform the university. Students who have not been awarded the scholarship should pay normal university fees. However, students awaiting for the scholarship should wait for the final award of scholarship before travelling to Mauritius. A copy of the scholarship agreement should be submitted to the University.

Five best students (two from department ‘Génie Electromécanique’ and three from department ‘Génie Electrique et Electronique’) who have completed their BSc degrees at UdM are eligible to access the third year of ‘Diplôme d’ingenieur (Bac +5) at l’ENSIL-ENSCI of Limoges without entrance exams.
Furthermore, there are entitiled to scholarships (sponsored by the Mauritian Government, French Embassy and l’ENSIL-ENSCI) to cater for their expenses during these three years of study.
