David Crowther is expert in business administration, a games theoretician and a psychologist while also a qualified accountant who has worked as an accountant, systems specialist and general manager in local government, industry and commerce for 20 years. After a number of years in the financial services sector, including a spell as divisional managing director during which he set up and ran a credit card scheme, he decided to leave the business world and become an academic. In 1994 he joined Aston University and there obtained a PhD in 1999 for research into corporate social performance. In 2001 he became the first Professor of Corporate Social Responsibility in the world. He now holds various positions as Professor as well as being visiting professor in various institutions. He gives advice as Chief Research Fellow at the Lithuanian Institute of Agrarian Economics and has consulted extensively around the world. At Ansted University he is also a member of the Board and President of the Sustainability Research Institute. He has consulted widely including to US Presidential candidates.
David has published more than 60 books and has also contributed several hundred articles to academic, business and professional journals and to edited book collections. He has also spoken widely at conferences and seminars worldwide and acted as a consultant to a wide range of government, professional and commercial organisations. In 2002 he established the Social Responsibility Research Network, an international body which now has several thousand members worldwide. He is listed in Who’s Who in the World and various other directories. His current research focuses on sustainability and governance in the modern environment.

Martin was a Professor of Corporate Social Responsibility at Leeds Business School, UK. He managed students based in the United Kingdom, Nigeria, Mauritius, and the United Arab Emirates in their Doctor of Philosophy studies. Prior to being an academic, Martin has had commercial experience as a financial manager of corporations in Singapore and Australia. He was an associate member of the Certified Practising Accountant, Australia, and member of the Australian College of Educators. He has been recognised in the Marquis Who’s Who in the World in 2007 publication for his research in establishing a Quality Effectiveness Instrument. He has published in international journals such as the Corporation Reputation Review, Journal of Global Responsibility, Sustainability Accounting, Management and Policy Journal and Journal of Accounting & Organisational Change.
He is currently an Associate Editor of Social Responsibility Journal. He is one of the founders and CEO of Samy Medical Group Pty Ltd that manages medical practices. He currently holds Visiting Professorships in a few universities. He supervises PhD students.
A social democrat at heart, he joined the Australian Labor Party and holds the position of convenor for the Community and Social Policy Committee and branch leadership role in the City of Rockingham
Robin Nunkoo is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management at the University of Mauritius; a Visiting Senior Research Fellow in the Faculty of Management at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa; an Adjunct Professor at Griffith Institute for Tourism, Griffith University, Australia. He holds a PhD from the University of Waterloo, Canada. He is the managing editor for Journal of Hospitality Marketing and Management and associate editor Tourism Review. He has published widely in leading journals such as Annals of Tourism Research, Tourism Management, Journal of Travel Research, Journal of Business Research, and Government Information Quarterly and has edited books on research methods and tourism planning. Dr. Robin Nunkoo a has been recognized by Clarivate™ in its "Highly Cited Researchers" list of 2021.
