This Diploma programme will provide an exposure to accounting standards, auditing guidelines as well as accounting for decision making. This will enable diploma holders to be fully involved at senior level of an organization to work as financial accountants, management accountants or even consultants. In the first year you will be exposed to managerial and basic accounting skills. The second year builds on the knowledge acquired to expose the students to more advanced concepts in accounting, auditing and the legal environment. There is also an opportunity to undertake a work placement within the industry. Some of the key modules taught over the 4 semesters are listed below.
