Description of projects:
There have been lots of journals in the field that we now refer to as digital humanities since Computers and the Humanities was first published in 1966. It was known by many terms such as humanities computing, humanist informatics, to name but a few. Digital humanities, which work at the intersection of digital technology and humanities disciplines, have become a new and dynamic hub of interdisciplinary research and teaching in many universities.
The overall aim of the Centre for Digital Humanities of Université des Mascareignes (CDH) is to create a multidisciplinary approach to research by bringing together scholars, scientists, developers, students and artists to reflect on the impact of digital technology on thought and practice in the humanities and the arts.
