I am a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Banking and Finance and has worked for the Universite des Mascareignes (formerly Swami Dayanand Institute of Management) since 1996.

I am a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) and qualified in London, UK. I hold an MBA with specialisation in Finance and Investment. I am also a member of the Mauritius Institute of Professional Accountants (MIPA).

I lecture in various modules including Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Management Accounting, Financial Reporting, Taxation and Portfolio Management.

Prior to joining the university, I have worked for some of the major Accounting firms, namely Coopers and Lybrand and KPMG. I have gained a wide range of experience in accounting, auditing and taxation across various sectors of the Mauritian economy.
