Mrs. Nundini Akaloo has over three decades of service in Mauritius’s tertiary education sector since 1995. She currently serves as Senior Lecturer in the Department of Management at the Université des Mascareignes (UdM), having previously held the position of founding Dean of the Faculty of Business and Management. She initiated and developed many English Business Communications and Workplace Ethics modules, which she continues to teach. She also chaired the initial Quality and Standards Assurance Academic Subcommittee, shaping internal academic procedures and quality assurance frameworks. Beyond the university, she served as Chairperson of the Anti-Corruption Academic Forum under the ICAC, championing ethics awareness among tertiary students. She has recently been nominated as Committee Member on the AI Ethics Ad Hoc Sub-Committee under HEC, pursuant to the Higher Education Regulations 2026. She holds a Diplôme Université d’Ingénierie du Numérique, a Master of Education in Education Administration and Technology (with Distinction), a Postgraduate Certificate in Business Administration, a BSc in Business Management, and a Diploma in Business Studies and Banking, and is currently pursuing doctoral research. Her scholarly interests encompass education, ethics, ethical leadership, communication, academic quality assurance, and business management.
